Guidelines for op-eds:

Op-eds should be limited to 800 words. All submissions must be original, exclusive to CGTN, and should not have been submitted to, posted to or published by any other media. An op-ed ought to have a clear point of view or argument supported by specific evidence. We welcome submissions featuring compelling content and diversified viewpoints. Please include sources for references made in your submission. Op-eds will be fact-checked and may be edited for clarity. Please include a one-sentence author biography and a high resolution profile photo to be posted on the CGTN website alongside your submission. Please note that we do our best to read all contributions promptly. If you don't hear from us within five days, it's safe to assume we won't be able to use your op-ed.

Guidelines for letters:

Letters to the Editor should be at least 150 words long and exclusive to CGTN. Letters should refer to a current issue, news event or article, and must include the writer's full name, address and phone number. Please put the text of the letter in the body of the email and do not send attachments. Letters will be fact-checked and may be edited for clarity. Please note that if you don't hear from us within five days, it's safe to assume we won't be able to use your letter.
